National Search Services is looking for a Manufacturing Planner located in the Lake Buena Vista area. This is a 6-month contract.

Location and Pay Range:

• 32830
• $38-$42 /hr

Description:

• The Manufacturing Planner position supports the Central Shops manufacturing production teams through the identification and acquisition of all materials, parts and components required for a project of job.

Requirements:

• Required: 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing and engineering environment.
• Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and personal organization.
• Exposure to multi-resource manufacturing operations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (including GD&T and weld symbols).
• Understanding of manufacturing principles across multiple crafts and trades (including machining, welding, staff/fiberglass, paint, etc).
• Experience partnering with and managing third-party manufacturing vendors.
• Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (specifically Excel).
• Strong communication skills, the ability to navigate a complex organization, and the ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization (production area craft workers, engineers, project managers, etc).

Preferred:

• Master’s in mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• 5+ years of experience Experience with SAP or other Experience with Maximo (or other CMMS or manufacturing management software).
• Experience managing projects/programs.
• Experience manufacturing planning, from individual parts/components to large-scale mechanical/electrical assemblies Hands-on manufacturing experience, across multiple disciplines.
• Graduate degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
